Where did you learn massage therapy?

Pura Vida Therapy's owner Felix graduated from Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs in 2014 with 350 hours over the 500 hrs required by the state of Colorado. If you have not already, checkout our team to learn more. We have now delivered over 2,000 massages to our customers.

How much does a massage cost?

At Pura Vida Therapy we offer a range of services starting from $95 for a 45 minute session. Consider signing up for our mailing list to receive special offers and referral discounts and checkout our current pricing. Corporate rates vary based services rendered.

How long is the massage?

We provide sessions that suit our client and their needs ranging from 45 minutes to 120 minutes. Our most popular session with repeat customers is 90 minutes. We are flexible so talk to us if you prefer a different session time.

Do you offer deep tissue massage?

Yes we do. We find that this technique combines indirect or subtle work with deep or direct work while maintaining a sensitive, safe and comfortable depth.

Do I need to be fully undressed?

Your comfort and safety is our top priority. We offer a range of services from chair massage and sports massage which are typically fully clothed to table massages like deep tissue which typically has less clothing. Our massage professionals will work in the condition that makes you comfortable.

Do you offer chair massages?

While our most frequently booked appointment is a table massage in the comfort of your home we can accommodate other massage techniques for preference, special events and limited mobility. If you don’t see the service you are looking for, feel free to contact us to review options.

What does therapeutic mean?

We believe it is a commutation skill developed by experience where massage therapist finds a trouble area or knots that people have in common from working doing same activity for 8 hrs plus every day.

When therapist applies a good sense of pressure that makes that area release and have results, leaving the muscle stress free and as a side affect you feel loose and ready to get back to the world.

To put it simply a very great feeling.

Do you have time for a longer massage?

As our clients see the quality of service we provide we are often asked to extend our sessions. It us all about communication, Let us know you want to extend the session and we will do our best to accommodate the request. We do work with customers who prefer to schedule reoccurring sessions due to a recent event or just because they enjoy our unique service.

Do you take tips?

Tips are always appreciated but not required or requested by our team. We often hear from our repeat customers that our prices are too low for the service they receive, we ask that each customer makes this consideration on their own.

While we have a diverse team of licensed massage professionals, Felix who owns Pura Vida Therapy was born in Toluca, Mexico. It is a place famous for that amazing chorizo we all love in our breakfast burritos!
